A typical photo taken on 1024 size on you digital camera is about 160 KB. That's about 6 photos per MB. On a 2 GB flashcard you will have about 2048 MB, thats about 12000 photos. A CD gives you around 700 MB, so thats about 4200 photos. I like CDs because you can't accidentally erase them. If the photos are valuable, keep a backup CD in case this one gets scratched or damaged.
